Position of the container
Container securement:
All lower corners of the container are placed on the flatbed
Or the corners are supported by a construction, which can withstand the weight of the container. Independently secure the support construction to the vehicle.


To secure a container to a flatbed trailer, 2 types of tie down are used: Straps and Chains.
Container securement:
On a 20ft. container use no less than 2 straps over the top of the container with a chain on the front and back.
On a 40ft. container use no less than 3 straps over the top of the container with a chain on the front and back.
